Mr Gupta has a well deserved reputation as the best consultant in the area for orthopaedic issues. I presented with carpal tunnel syndrome, a condition that had been bothering me for over 18 months. Mr Gupta took time to thoroughly explain his plan for my cure, reassured me that there would be a positive outcome and swiftly arranged the operation. His professional, clear but caring manner gave me confidence that I was in the right hands. The operation was a total success from the first night as I had no carpal tunnel symptoms. I was impatient to get back to my normal activities and like Mr Gupta’s approach of letting the individual patient’s discomfort be the self limiting factor while offering guidance as to what you should or shouldn’t do. Highly recommend him. Thank you Mr Gupta and his excellent team.

From our first consultation Mr Gupta showed great understanding of my real life situation which assured me that he knew about not just the injury but the environment of the injury (cricket field/grounds). This resulted in a built of trust very quickly and i followed his guidance on the best approach. The recovery process is long but he has kept me up to date with a the improvements and expected timelines.

Mr R Gupta did a Arthroscopic Rotator cuff repair on my left shoulder on the 26th July 2023, the operation was very successful and I received great care while I was in Ashford hospital. After having been in a cage for six weeks I received physiotherapy at Ashford hospital which was very good and helped my recovery. I have now been discharged by both Mr R Gupta and the Physiotherapy department as my shoulder is in a very good place. One very happy patient.

Without any shadow of a doubt, I would highly recommend Mr. Gupta. He explains and takes time explaining and answering any questions throughout the whole process. He Listens and remembers what you have said. An excellent surgeon.! I first met Mr. Gupta in 2013 when he repaired my right shoulder rotator Cuff. It was a successful operation. At the time he did say that in about 10 years, I may need a shoulder replacement. He was right. The only thing that concerned me that after 11 years I may not be able to request Mr Gupta to do the operation and whether or not he was still working at St.Peters. Good news! My GP did a referral for me to see him. I then had an appointment to see Mr Gupta last year 2023 and had my operation in November For a Right Reverse Geometry total shoulder replacement. Now 5 months down the line I am pain-free. The scar itself healed very quickly with no complications, very neat and 5 months on you can hardly see it. I cannot thank him enough for such a great job. He has now signed me off. Also, I would like to add he has a great team working for him. He's so well liked by staff as well as patients.
